The staff were friendly and welcoming despite shortages, offering complimentary drinks before bedtime. The location was excellent, just steps from the train station and local amenities. The pub downstairs added a unique charm with its interesting decor and was listed among London’s top 50 pubs. Rooms featured comfortable beds in a quiet setting with fresh air. Access to a shared kitchen and breakfast items was an unexpected bonus.
