We liked the location because it was quiet but just half a block from lots of cafes, restaurants, and food stores, plus close to the underground, Kensington Gardens, and Portobello Road Market. The apartment in Linden Gardens was clean and nicely furnished with a decent kitchen and small bathrooms, no A/C but fans helped on warmer days. It was street level with just a few steps to get in.
